GRIPGUARD Medical Now Available Nationwide – Strengthening Supply Security in the Consumer Segment

BISON Polymers GmbH, a German manufacturer of nitrile disposable gloves, is expanding its presence in the retail market: GRIPGUARD Medical nitrile disposable gloves are now available at Rossmann stores throughout Germany. By adding the product to its range, Rossmann is opting for a solution manufactured in Germany while also strengthening the availability of high-quality protective gloves in the consumer segment. GRIPGUARD Medical is designed for hygienic applications in everyday life, particularly for home care, household use, cleaning and food handling in the kitchen.
Strategic Relevance: Local Production as an Alternative to Import-Driven Supply
The market for nitrile disposable gloves has traditionally been heavily dependent on imports, particularly from Asia. BISON Polymers is deliberately pursuing a different approach: according to the company’s own positioning, it is the first and only manufacturer of nitrile disposable gloves “Made in Germany”.
Production in Germany uses European-sourced raw materials as well as proprietary, modern and energy-efficient manufacturing technology developed by BISON. The aim is to reduce dependence on global supply chains while maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability.

With the Rossmann listing, BISON Polymers is systematically expanding its GRIPGUARD consumer brand. The aim is to make high-quality nitrile disposable gloves manufactured in Germany accessible to a broad range of consumers for everyday use, while establishing a new standard of quality within the segment.
Availability
GRIPGUARD Medical will shortly be available nationwide in almost all Rossmann stores across Germany. Rossmann is the first and, for the time being, only retail partner to offer BISON Polymers’ nitrile disposable gloves as a medical device nationwide.
